Xena & Gabrielle's Comments on Episode 105

Plot: Lindsay tries to solve the tension between Melanie & Brian by inviting Brian over for dinner. Brian doesn't show up, which upsets Lindsay.

Xena's Comments: Again, I was annoyed by the way Lindsay deals with Brian. It was worth it to see Melanie being so sexy though :). I love the scene when Mel takes off her shirt and Lindsay can't resist. Just seeing two women on TV being so intimate and loving to each other was wonderful. Later on, it was sad when Brian doesn't show for dinner. Lindsay is upset by Brian and Melanie is upset that it hurts Lindsay so much.

Gabrielle's Comments: Brian is a prick…is anyone shocked? Brian misses a "let's be friendly parents of Gus dinner" Lindsay set up the dinner for this bizarre love triangle as an attempt to mediate peace between Mel and Brian. Brian's absence devastates Lindsay and makes us, the viewers, question why Melanie has put up with Lindsay's devotion to Brian for 6 YEARS!! This episode also makes us wonder how much of a doormat will the writers make Lindsay and would a cool chick like Melanie truly stand putting up with her?
