September 22, 2002 - Not a lot of events going on right now (that we know about). Today we just updated some of the dated content.

September 17, 2002 - Added some new comments from Mystics Fans and even Players to the Mystics4Ever Comments section. Check these out. It is great to see so many people so supportive of this team.

September 8, 2002 - Added a new section titled Coming Out Stories, where people can post their coming out experiences for other's to read. We currently have Gabrielle's story and a new DC Dykes, J-No, who has written up a great look at her coming out experience. We also updated the Metro Events/DC section.

August 29, 2002 - Mystics4Ever wrote another great column, titled Mystics Fans Are Awesome...And Proud. DCDykes.com is thrilled to have another local woman who is interested in sharing her thoughts about the DC Area, coming out, etc. Watch for postings in the next couple of days.

August 26, 2002 - Xena updated the Liberty vs. Mystics Equals Xena vs. Gabrielle section we have been writing with her thoughts on last nights game. Added some news stories about the Mystics to the Mystics section. Updated the Metro Events/DC, VA & MD sections. Also updated the Entertainment and Music sections.

August 25, 2002 - Just updated the Liberty vs. Mystics Equals Xena vs. Gabrielle comments we have written up. More updates coming later.

August 23, 2002 - Just added a note about why the DCDykes.com house is a bit tense right now, Liberty vs. Mystics Equals Xena vs. Gabrielle.

August 21, 2002 - Mystics4Ever has written a new column, Mystics Play Liberty In Conference Finals. We added info about the Mystics vs. Liberty Playoff Games to the Mystics section. Also updated the Washington Freedom section with news on their next home game. Added 18 new sounds and two new images to the Virtual Postcards sections.

August 19, 2002 - Sorry for the lack of updates this summer. It seems that one of us (if not both) have been away a lot of weekends. That should stop now that school is starting. Gabrielle has been busy this week. She wrote up a new item for the Relationships section titled, Overcoming My Embarrassment. She also wrote up a new book review of "Club Twelve" by Amanda Kyle Williams. Mystics4Ever wrote up a new column, Mystics Lose Homecourt Advantage In Playoffs. We also updated the Metro Events/DC, VA & MD sections. Added new local music events to the Music section. Finally, we updated the Mystics section with new info on upcoming games.

August 13, 2002 - Have a number of updates today. To start, Mystics4Ever wrote up a new column, Mystics Playoff Bound With Winning Record. Also added a news story from the Washington Post about the Mystics to the Mystics News page. We also updated the Metro Events/DC section and the Resources/Social & Support section. Added a Help Wanted to the Music section. Updated the "Queer As Folk" section also.

August 12, 2002 - Updated the Mystics section. Also updated the In The News section with a story going on in VA.

August 7, 2002 - Well, a number of updates are here today. To start, Clubgrrl has written two new reviews of a couple of clubs in Baltimore, Coconuts Cafe & The Hippo. We also finally added links to the Music section, another link to the Books section and a General Entertainment Links page. Xena posted a question in the Can You Help? section. We changed the buttons at the top of the page around a little in the hopes that you can jump right to the area you are looking for. Last but not least, we fixed some missing pages on the Site Map.

August 6, 2002 - Sorry everyone for the unexpected vacation we took. Had some visitors in town for a while. We are back and finally made some much needed updates. The Aug. TV Schedule is up. We also updated the Metro Events/DC section and the Music section.

July 30, 2002 - Gabrielle found some interesting new Resources that we posted under the Resources/Social & Support and Resources/Misc sections. Added the latest column by Mystics4Ever, Mystics Struggle Without Holdsclaw and a new review by BookBuff, "Affinity" by Sarah Waters'. Also updated the Metro Events/DC, "Queer As Folk" and Music sections with some new info.

July 26, 2002 - Wow. July is a slow month in the DC Metro Area. Not a whole lot going on right now. We have been using this time to take some much needed time off. Updates will begin on a daily basis again in mid-August. For right now, we just did some basic updates to delete old info.

July 19, 2002 - DCDykes.com is very proud to welcome two brave women who answered our plea for help with the Books section. BookBuff and Bunctius will be offering their thoughts on some great lesbian books. Both have already started with some great reviews.

July 18, 2002 - Added the latest column from Mystics4Ever, Mystics Sign Center Katryna Gaither.

July 17, 2002 - Added a new story to the Mystics News section.

July 15, 2002 - Just updated the Metro Event/VA and "Queer As Folk" sections.

July 14, 2002 - Updated the Metro Events/DC, MD, & VA sections. Also updated the Books and Music sections with some local happenings.

July 13, 2002 - Added a couple of new stories to the In The News section. Also added some info on a contest tonight at Liquid Ladies. Changed the look and content of the Mystics Section.

July 12, 2002 - Added a 2002 WNBA All-Star List of Events for this weekend. Also updated the Metro Events/DC & VA sections.

July 11, 2002 - Lots of Mystics stuff today. First, we have divided the Mystics Trivia Questions and Fan Comments into two separate pages. Mystics4Ever has added a new column, Mystics Undefeated At MCI Center. Finally, The Washington Post has an interesting article on the Mystics fan from today's paper, Mystics, Fans Have Winning Numbers.

July 10, 2002 - Updated the Metro Events/VA page today. Also changed the day of the week that Remington's hold's its "Ladies Night" from Thursday to Wednesday on the Bars page.

July 9, 2002 - Just updated the Metro Events/DC & VA pages today. Also fixed the link from the homepage for the Be A Television Star article. Sorry to anyone who couldn't reach the page through that link.

July 7, 2002 - Well, we thought we would be able to update the site while we were away, but we never sat down at the computer. Sorry about that. Have a few updates for today. Added new columns by both Mystics4Ever (this is a great one on Mystics Trivia Questions and Fan Comments) and ClubGrrl (who reports on Badlands-Liquid Ladies). Also updated the Metro Events/DC and VA pages along with a request for help in the Books section. Finally, updated the Queer As Folk section with some new screen captures and news.

June 28, 2002 - Updated the July TV Schedule. Also added Mystics4Ever's latest column Mystics Lead Eastern Conference with 10-2 Record. Added another club review from ClubGrrl for Club Chaos. Please note that we will be on vacation the week of July 4th. We will check our e-mail (each day we hope) and will make some minor updates to the site, but please don't expect anything major until after the holiday. Happy July 4th Everyone!

June 27, 2002 - Updated the "Queer As Folk" section. Also updated the Not Technically Lesbian Movies page.

June 26, 2002 - Updated the Metro Events/DC, VA & MD sections. Also added some new info to the TV section and updated the Resources/Health page. Second update for today. We added a new story on Survivor Benefits for same-sex couples to the In The News section. Also, we are happy to welcome ClubGrrl, who has taken up the task of reporting on all the local lesbian nightlife. She has written up her Introduction and her thoughts on Phase One and Hung Jury. Welcome ClubGrrl!

June 23, 2002 - With the summer now here, we will not be able to update this site every day. Instead, watch for larger updates every few days. Gabrielle has made an amendment to her Mystics Draft story with an Apology to Coco Miller. Updated the Lesbian Movies, Books, Resources/Political, and Metro Events/DC sections as well.

June 20, 2002 - Sorry for the lack of updates. Xena had to go out of town to see a New York Liberty game at the Garden (watch for her comments on why the Liberty Rocks more then the Mystics). We were able to update the Metro Events/DC and MD sections today.
