We are working hard to update this site on a regular basis with news and information that is important to the lesbian community in the DC Metro Area. We are posting this update page so that you have an easy way to find out what is new and don't have to wander around looking for updated information.

HELP WANTED
We try and try, but can't seem to find the time to locate new events that are taking place. We are looking for a few good women who are familuar with the community and can take an hour or so a week to go through local newspapers, etc. and locate events that are of interest to the DC lesbian and bisexual women's community.

June 26, 2003 - Added news about the latest Supreme Court decision.

May 15, 2003 - Updated the Metro Events/DC, VA, and MD sections. Also added a Metro Events Pride page which we will post all lesbian related pride events that we learn about. Mystics4Ever has written some great new columns about the start of the 2003 season. First is Mystics 2003 and the second is WNBA News. Speaking of the Mystics, added the 2003 Mystics schedule to the General Mystics page.

April 18, 2003 - Did a number of general updates. Also updated the following sections; Bars, D.C. Divas and Baltimore Burn 2003 Schedules, FAQ, In The News, Metro Events/DC, VA & MD, and Resources/Sports.

March 10, 2003 - The last updates were late last night or early morning (depending on your POV). I added a review of the film, Alles Wird Gut- Everything Will Be Fine - which was written by toni_s. I am putting the final touches on a Buffy column by Gabrielle and also trying to get the rest of March and some of April's TV schedule up. Check back tomorrow for that.

March 10, 2003 - Finally! After Xena's work schedule, the whole house being sick, etc., etc., we are finally able to work on this site again. We apologize to anyone who's e-mail we didn't get to or who's event we did not post. It was not intentional. We are back on schedule now and will go back to updates a few times a week. Tonight, we were able to update the following: Metro Events/DC, & MD; Bars; Mystics4Ever wrote another great column, titled Big Changes in WNBA; Resources/Regional; Resources/Social & Support; & Resources/Publications. Additional reviews and columns we have been sent will be updated tomorrow, along with the entertainment sections. If anyone is an avid TV watcher and would like to help with the TV Schedule at any point, please let us know.

February 28, 2003 - Updated the to announce that Thea Gill of "Queer as Folk" will be appearing in the DC area this coming weekend. Xena also posted a message on the homepage as to why there hasn't been a lot of updates on the site recently.

January 24, 2003 - Updated the Latest News section with two separate stories that ran in the Post over the past two days. First is Going Behind the Back - College Recruiters Raise Issue of Sexual Orientation, the second, U.S. Awards Lesbian 9/11 Compensation For Loss of Partner.

January 22, 2003 - Updated the Metro Events/DC, MD & VA sections. Also added some news to the Entertainment and Bars sections.

January 18, 2003 - Updated the Metro Events/DC, & VA sections. Also added some news about Liquid Ladies to the Bars section.

January 3, 2003 - Oops...we forgot to post the "we are going on vacation" message. We are sorry about that. We knew we would be away for a while and thought we had posted a message about that. It won't happen again.

For today, we have posted the January TV Calendar. Also added a news story to the In The News section. Will have Metro Event updates this weekend.
