If
you are a fan of women's sports, DC is a great place to be right
now, especially in the summer. We have lots of local sports. We
also have one professional basketball team, two professional football
teams and one professional soccer team.
Here

to see what is happening.

- A not-for-profit, non-membership, all-volunteer organization
serving the gay and lesbian community in the Washington
DC area. Its purpose is to encourage and publicize group
outdoor activities.
- Alexandria
Socialites - bowling and schmoozing league. Requirements:

Atlantic States Gay Rodeo Association - A charitable
and social organization whose primary purpose is to promote
the sport of rodeo and foster country and western lifestyles
in the gay and lesbian community. ASGRA members enjoy
the fellowship of numerous social, recreational and educational
activities.
- CampOut
- A women-owned and operated private campground and events
center conveniently located off I-64 Exit 143 Louisa Ferncliff,
between Charlottesville and Richmond. Enjoy tenting, swimming,
fishing, canoeing, hiking, paddleboats, volleyball, fire
circle chats, hammocks, hot showers, horseshoes, and much
more. Cabins and RV sites with electricity are available.
CampOut offers Women's Music Festival, Wild Western Women's
Weekend, Open Mike Weekends, Dances, Workshops, and Fishing
Tournaments. Learn new skills and practice the art of
relaxation at a women's outdoor paradise!

Tennis Association (CTA) - A non-for-profit organization
with the primary purpose of coordinating and promoting
the sport of tennis within the GLTB community.

- Capital Area Rainbowers Association is a member supported
organization composed of gay and lesbian bowling leagues
in the Metropolitan Washington D.C. Area.

Front Runners - A sports organization of runners
and walkers from Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Founded in 1981, the 300-member club's activities are
open to gay people and friends of gay people.
