- Free
State Justice - Dedicated to promoting and protecting
the rights of the LGBT community in Maryland.

GLC
- Graduate Lambda Coalition of the University of Maryland welcomes
all students, especially graduate students who identify as lesbian,
gay, bisexual, transgender or straight ally.
- LIFE
(Low-Impact Fun, Etc.) - Group of Maryland is a social
group for women in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. .

- Maryland
Women's Rugby - Team holds practice in Hyattsville, Md. (Metro

- NCAGLSEN
VA/MD Chapter of GLSEN - Creating safe schools for lesbian, gay,
bisexual and transgender people.
- Southern
Maryland Social Group - includes gay, lesbian, bisexual,
and transgender people in the Southern Maryland region of Calvert,
Charles, St. Mary's, and southern Anne Arundel and Prince George's
Counties. The group was established in September 1989 to provide
opportunities for our members to enjoy our lives and friends through
camaraderie and mutual support.

of Maryland LGBT Resource Center - Located on the campus
of the University of Maryland, it provides services to LGBT students
and alumni.
- Women's

- Alexandria
Socialites - bowling and schmoozing league. Requirements:
be a lesbian. Fall through spring, 6 PM For more information,

- The
Alexandria Office of Human Rights - Created by the Human
Rights Ordinance of the City of Alexandria, it servers as the
City's liaison to the Commission. It's focus is on granting equal
opportunity in housing, credit, employment, etc.
- Arlington
Gay and Lesbian Alliance - The Arlington Gay & Lesbian
Alliance (AGLA) is a nonpartisan organization that strives to
improve the quality of life and meet the needs of the Gay and
Lesbian community throughout Arlington. We are committed to creating
an organization that reflects the diversity of the Arlington community
and building relationships with business and civic groups and
community leaders. Our work includes: Community Service, Social
Activities, and Political Awareness.

- A social club for area LGBT people and their family and friends.
The purpose is to offer an alternative outlet for social activities,
to promote both physical and mental well-being and to participate
in the gay community activities and services.

Alliance for Citizen Equality (FACE) - FACE strives to
end discrimination against persons who are, or who are perceived
to be, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendereed.
