1st - 8th - It's time to show your Pride. A full

June
5th & 6th - In honor of Capital Pride, Reel Affirmations,
Washington, D.C.'s International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival,
will hold its annual Pride Film Festival Thursday, June 5
and Thursday, June 6 at the Lincoln Theatre (13th & U
Streets). The two-day festival will feature some of the best
gay and lesbian films from around the world. The schedule
includes: June 6th, 9 p.m. Tipping the Velvet: The BBC's Tipping
the Velvet is a lavish and provocative drama about the lives
of four women and their love affairs both apart and together.
Sarah Waters, book comes to life in this drama of exploration,
lust and love. Friday, June 6 at 9 p.m. at the Lincoln Theatre.
Tickets are $9 and festival passes are $25 and can be purchased

High School (right across from RFK). The D.C. Divas and Washington

7th - D.C.'s 28th annual Capital Pride Festival will
include the annual parade on Saturday, June 7th at 6:30 p.m.,
beginning at 24th and N Streets, NW and ending at 17th and
P Streets, NW. |

8th - The D.C. Pride Street Festival will be held
on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, between 3rd and 7th Streets and
opens to the public at 11:30 a.m. |
