Special Events June
	June 1st - 8th - It's time to show your Pride. A full list of events will be on this site starting in mid-May. You can visit www.capitalpride.org for a list of scheduled events to date.
	June 5th & 6th - In honor of Capital Pride, Reel Affirmations, Washington, D.C.'s International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, will hold its annual Pride Film Festival Thursday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6 at the Lincoln Theatre (13th & U Streets). The two-day festival will feature some of the best gay and lesbian films from around the world. The schedule includes: June 6th, 9 p.m. Tipping the Velvet: The BBC's Tipping the Velvet is a lavish and provocative drama about the lives of four women and their love affairs both apart and together. Sarah Waters, book comes to life in this drama of exploration, lust and love. Friday, June 6 at 9 p.m. at the Lincoln Theatre. Tickets are $9 and festival passes are $25 and can be purchased at www.boxofficetickets.com. 	June 6th - Not a "lesbian event" we know, but the Washington Mystics will have a home game at 7:00pm at the MCI Center. You can check out the Mystics page on this site for ticket info, etc.
	June 7th - Again, not a "lesbian event" we know, but the D.C. Divas will have a home game at 7:00pm at Eastern High School (right across from RFK). The D.C. Divas and Washington Freedom are offering a "Women's Football Weekend" page. You can check out the D.C. Divas Schedule page on this site for ticket info, etc.
	June 7th - March with LSP in the Capital Pride Parade. Meet at 6:00 pm. Free T-Shirts for the first 20 Marchers!!! Let them know to expect you by e-mailing lsp@wwc.org or calling (202) 939-1580.
	June 7th - D.C.'s 28th annual Capital Pride Festival will include the annual parade on Saturday, June 7th at 6:30 p.m., beginning at 24th and N Streets, NW and ending at 17th and P Streets, NW.
	June 8th - The D.C. Pride Street Festival will be held on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, between 3rd and 7th Streets and opens to the public at 11:30 a.m.
	June 8th - Yet again, not a "lesbian event" we know, but the Washington Freedom will have a home game at 4:00pm at RFK. The Washington Freedom and the D.C. Divas are offering a "Women's Football Weekend" page. You can check out the D.C. Divas Schedule page on this site for ticket info, etc.
