Who Is ClubGrrl?
by
ClubGrrl

I first started going to lesbian clubs around D.C. a couple of years
ago. My initial "regular hangout" was Phase One, though I would occasionally go to the Hung Jury when I got fed up with the number of mullets at the Phase. Then the full body pat-downs at the Jury would lead me back to the Phase. As you can see, it was a vicious cycle.

Now I tend to mainly go to Liquid Ladies, since I think it's far superior to either of the two staple lesbian clubs in D.C. However, I hope these two bars remain open. I think we should only add to the number of lesbian clubs right now since there are so painfully few.

I also occasionally go to Chaos, since the Drag King shows are fun and Chaos is a great place to people-watch. That's about it, but I'm always looking for new lesbian club events in the metro area. If you know of any, please contact me at clubgrrl@dcdykes.com

Wednesday - Remington's, located on Pennsylvania Ave SE offers a ladies night on Wednesday's (use to be Thursday). It is usually a pretty large crowd and if you get there early you can take country dance lessons.

Wednesday - Club Chaos. They offer a great dance club catered to women. Every 1st Wed. of the month, they host the Drag Kings Show.
