There are a number of bars in the DC area which are either all lesbian or hold a "Ladies Night" (see menu on the right). Below is a list that we have come up with. If you know of any bars that we haven't listed, please drop us an e-mail.

Liquid Ladies - Liquid Ladies is back!!!!!
Viva la liquid ladies! Apex (formerly Badlands) has brought back a weekly women's dance party on Saturdays. Cover charge is $5 for the entire month of January, and it is hosted by DJ

Delta Elite - I have not personally gone to Delta Elite, but here is what one of my sources says about it, and you should listen to her because she is from New York city, where the clubs far surpass the ones in D.C....Read ClubGrrl's thoughts on Delta Elite.

Titan at Hamburger Marys - Gallaudet University is known as the best school for the hearing-impaired. And on Saturday night, Titan appears to be where all of the school’s queer and queer-friendly folks go. Even if you’re not hearing-impaired, the bar is nice place to hang out and see a subculture-within-a-subculture in action...Read the rest of the review by ClubGrrl.

Ellington’s on 8th - We haven't been here yet, but heard that they offer a ladies night on Sunday's. If you know anything about this bar, please e-mail us.

Hung Jury - Thanks to a number of visitors who e-mailed us, we now have more information on this one. It seems that Friday night is not the best night to visit Hung Jury, though the First Friday of the month is for lesbians. If you go on Saturday's though, that is a different story. Saturday's at Hung Jury is said to be the biggest lesbian night of all the bars in town. A word of caution. The bar is located down an alley. It is suggested you travel with friends. Phase One - Located right between Remington's and the now gone, Sheridan's on 8th Street, this is a women's bar every night of the week. It is pretty small compared to the men's bars, but nobody should be surprised by that. They offer a pool table, dancing and drink specials. Music is mostly club mixes, but they also have a jukebox if you get there early. They also have a large pull-down screen for watching movies and sporting events. The crowd is pretty mixed here. Remington's, located on Pennsylvania Ave SE offers a ladies night on Wednesday (use to be Thursdays). It is usually a pretty large crowd and if you get there early you can take country dance lessons. Visit their website at http://www.remingtonswdc.com/ for more information.

The Wet - Sophisticated Ladies Productions, Inc. presents Soft ‘n’ Wet Afternoons at The Wet, 52 L Street. SW in DC on the last Saturday of each month from 3-7pm. Admission is $10 and benefits The Mautner Project. For info call 301-439-2267 or visit www.mautnerproject.org/programs.html.

Every Forth Saturday - Jackie and Sandy's Dance Party, a Non-Smoking evening dance event from 7pm- 12am with mixed music, open to all ladies, will be held at Du-Shor Dance Studio, 7800 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD. The Bethesda Metro (Red Line) is a few blocks south. Free parking in county garage on Woodmont. $10 cover. Light snacks are available and water and soda will be available for purchase. BYOB. Annie’s Paramount Steak House - isn't a bar, but it's a really nice restaurant. They offer a pretty large menu and fairly reasonable prices. They are located on 17th St. NW. For information call, 202-232-0395.
